How it all began..I started my early career days in the optical industry. I became a quick study on the repair of eyeglasses..all the tiny little parts and tiny little tools, metals, plastics, chemicals, etc….sometimes having to be very creative on how to make something functional and esthetically pleasing --right on the spot..some poor soul would walk in squinting with their glasses in their hand in pieces….it was challenging and rewarding all in one…make it work and give someone their vision back. :) Out of this I accidentally acquired a basic skill of using jewelry making tools which eventually morphed into making jewelry. One weekend after I was first married my husband surprised me with a trip to see my best friend, whom I have known since kindergarten, she resides in Southern Washington. When she picked me up from the airport I noted her lovely bracelet..she said, " Oh, I made it!" The rest is history…we spent the next four days scouring bead shops in down town Portland and I have not stopped since. :) I love to create. It is my joy. :) I soon branched out into metal stamping and I love it so much..maybe too much..I see a blank piece of metal and I feel the need to stamp something on it!:)
My other passions include dirt bike riding, camping and anything fun with my family.
